For this project, Integrated Health Information System Pte Ltd, the in-house MaXXa Panel System was chosen by my client's client.
When the case was present to me, straight away there were a few issues.
First of all, from their layout, it could be seened that they had several configurations which requires a drop in panel heights with the adjacent ones.
But at that time, the MaXXa Panel System which was developed by another of my colleagues, was still not a complete system and it lacks the hardwares and componentry to achieve that requirement.
And to make things worst, the is also a requirement that the Teknion Transit Off Module Flipper Door Storage will be mounted on to the MaXXa Panel System, which it's original mounting methods were not compatible to ours.
The weight and stress this mounted storage will have on the thin MaXXa Panel System, especially at its joints where the drop height is, have to be seriously taken into consideration.

As shown above is one of the configuraton for the project.
To tackle all the client's requirement (considering the extremely short lead time at that moment), a special bracketry was designed to be extruded to enable this drop height.
Extrusion was chosen at that point instead of the casting methods as we do not have time on our side and a huge quantity is required.
Hence the bracketry was designed in such a way that we could simply extrude it, and with minimum post processing, product a huge numbers of the required bracketry in record time by just cutting time down to size.
Also since it was extruded, the strength of the bracketry could also be control from both the cross section design and type of grade of the aluminum used.
