ASync
A-Sync is a fun puzzle game with asynchronous multiplayer gameplay that looks quite simple but is actually a great challenge to your spatial resolution abilities. In addition to solo gameplay, the game features an asynchronous multiplayer component that is powered by a custom back-end server.

I was contracted as the sole front-end developer/gameplay programmer for a period of 6 months on this project.

- Served as the front-end programmer on the project, handling gameplay and UI programming as well as back-end integrations
- Helped define the public API for the back-end service
- Developed an extensible UI framework for easy addition of game screens, notifiables, deep links, etc.
- Worked with a distributed team of backend developers, and freelance artists
- Actively participated in weekly reviews, with an interest in identifying and squashing bugs
