The major concern about pine needle
Forest fire is the biggest problem in Himachal Pradesh, India. Out of total 55,673 sq km geographic area in the state, the forest comprises 37,033 sq km, which is 4.80% of total forests in the country.
The Himachal Pradesh is mostly cover with pine forest which becomes dry and leads to a forest fire.
The pine needle needs to be utilised as it is very flammable. So, it can be used as a raw material to make product in various range. Being one of a natural material it is 100% sustainable.

Country needs a alternative to secure the resources for the future generation and to make the ecological balance of this planet. 
Inspiration

Final concept
The Moth is a wall decor product of width 59 cm, a height of 45 cm and the middle part of 30 cm.

The moth is a wall decor product made out of pine needle craft, The motif is taken from nature. The shape and colors incorporated in the product are inspired by the moth itself.
All the parts of Moth is developed separately, and then sewed together with the middle part.

The right wings of the moth weaved and attached by the threads. The outer layer of pine is dyed with red color and weaved with red color, then natural colored pine weaved with pink thread, and then the inner part is weaved and dyed with yellow. The color is inspired by the original moth colors.
