SOKEE
Consumers of Nespresso's coffee pods are aware of the fact that these are a problem to the environment. Still, they don't stop using them because they find them very practical. However, they don't recycle them correctly. Governments and companies are starting to ban coffee pods.
My question by this point is: Why do they have to take away what the user enjoys the most?
By changing the point of view, we can reach a solution.
This, is Sokee.

Integrated in the kitchen:
Sokee is a capsule coffee maker that pursues the objective of eliminating the problem that the incorrect recycling of coffee pods supposes in the sustainability of the planet.
It seeks to close an infinite cycle of reuse of capsules. From them, aluminum is extracted, which can be recycled infinitely, and coffee, which can be used as a resource to create a bioplastic. Thus, the parts of Sokee would be manufactured with these materials.
This, also backed by a system of rewards and discounts that encourages the user to recycle their capsules and parts, becomes a coffee maker that, in addition to generating new recycling habits, helps solve the problem of the capsules in the environment.

VOLUMETRIC MODEL PROCESS
1. Wood components (simulating the coffee material)
- CNC cutting machine.
- Sand and smooth the edges.
- Glue them together.
2. Methacrylate components:
- CNC cutter.
- Smooth the edges and remove the dirt.
- Glue them together with chloroform.
- Paint them in an aluminium finish.
3. Water tank:
- 3d printer.
- Glue it with the necessary components.
