GAMEDAY POSTER SERIES
These were a creative team favorite. Each week, one designer is tasked with creating a gameday poster for the game on Sunday. The only rules: there aren't any. As you can see below, these don't have to be on brand whatsoever, making them a great opportunity to flex our design muscles.
Buccaneers vs. Panthers (London) - Inspired by the beautiful churches and cathedrals of London,
the Bucs' raid across the pond was captured on a floor-to-ceiling stained glass window.

Buccaneers vs. Seahawks - Posted to social on Halloween, I couldn't pass up the chance to ruffle some feathers as the Bucs took on the Seahawks.

Buccaneers vs. Jaguars - Going to college in Jacksonville, this one was a special one for me. Armed with only my iPad and Apple Pencil, I had never done anything close to an illustration of this magnitude before. It was a happy coincidence that the Bucs and Jaguars colors just so happened to work perfectly with the fall motif that I was looking for on my final gameday poster of the season which was posted to social on Thanksgiving Day.
SPYGLASS STORIES
First of its kind swipe-able photo gallery for @Buccaneers Instagram account to celebrate wins throughout the 2019 season. Worked hand-in-hand with Buccaneers' photographer, Kyle Zedaker, and copywriter, Nick John, to come up with this unique concept to make a more creative and seamless way to tell the story of the game "through the lens" (or spyglass, if you will) of our amazing photographers.
USING ALL OF THE AVAILABLE SPACE
We celebrated the accomplishments of these three young Bucs after a big win by combining all four photo frames on Twitter to make one cohesive graphic. It was a point of emphasis for me to make sure that these graphics not only looked good altogether, but also that they could stand alone and have the message still come across.
Various social graphics made throughout the season.
PLAYER BIRTHDAY GRAPHICS
My first project when beginning my internship was to revamp the birthday graphics for social media. What was once just a photo with text now consists of two different options for current players (one for those who did asset shoot photos and another for those with only action shots), along with a brand new third version that I created specifically for Bucs legends (such as John Lynch, Doug Williams, and Hardy Nickerson).

LETTING VIDEO TELL THE STORY
This was a new idea that had not before been tried on the @Buccaneers Instagram account: individual player highlight video frames. Frames were created in advance and then loaded into an After Effects file to be placed overtop of the video for social. In a world where people are scrolling through hundreds of posts per day, why not use video to capture their attention?
PAID SOCIAL ADS
Designed to live on Facebook, these ads incorporate subtle motion on a loop in order to stop the viewer's thumb and grab their attention to show them what the experience of a Buccaneers football game is all about. Our social media coordinator, Austin Penny, challenged me to make our ads move and I love the way they turned out!
IN-STADIUM MURAL
I never thought that as an intern I would get an opportunity to design a piece of Raymond James Stadium. Located in the West Club, this mural is seen by hundreds of Stadium Club members during every Buccaneers home game. To watch this go from mockup to reality was a truly amazing feeling.
HONORING OUR SERVICE MEN & WOMEN
It truly is more than football. This logo lockup is now used on the plaque outside of the "Hero of the Game Suite" at Raymond James Stadium, which welcomes military men and women and their families to watch their Bucs play.
BILLBOARDS: BEFORE & AFTER
My billboard design to begin the season was not up to par with where it needed to be out in the market. It was difficult to read, lacking in Buccaneers brand elements, and overall unappealing. After some research I took it upon myself to give the billboards a face-lift, placing more priority on what's important when you're driving down the road: the date and time.
PRINT PIECES
Designing for print was a big weakness for me coming into this internship. I hadn't had much experience in this area and needed a lot of help understanding crops and bleeds, file formats, and when to use the different color modes. The creative team helped me so much in this area and I'm proud of what I was able to accomplish!
