Great Minds Think Alike

When we talk about "creativity" we often tend to focus on the end results what human creativity can achieve. Instead of focusing on innovations and the creator's success, I investigated the process of creating and roots of the phenomenon of human creativity. These roots connects us all in a profound level. They explain how and why we are all creative—we all have great minds. However, it is not solely dependant on us whether our ideas are heard or that we can become known for our creativity, and the current Zeitgeist—the idealisation of productivity and misinformation in the Age of Big Data—can lower creative potential significantly. I found several "X factors" where small c's can become big C's, but only if the creator oneself possess an ideal creative environment and a steady creative self-confidence. My on-going project is to communicate this complex phenomenon to the public and boost creative self-confidence in everyone.

Here's the first part of my +5 year study that aims to outline the entire mission: http://urn.fi/URN:NBN:fi:aalto-201906234195
