Finders Keepers is a project near and dear to my heart. The project was born from a Production Technologies course in my third year of university. We were given a blank open canvas. Design a publication and wireframe of a companion website homepage about something of our choosing. This project was the perfect vehicle to explore a newfound passion for foraging, plant identification, and wild edibles.

It was an opportunity to take on multiple roles (Researcher, Copywriter, Designer, Art Director, Creative Director) to create something unique.

Foraging is nothing new, it's an age-old practice, that thankfully is beginning to come back into popularity and my goal was to use a designer's aesthetic, complete with rich-narrative photography to capture a modern-day forager's attention. To appeal to a younger generation, through the use of visual storytelling, creative recipes and easily accessible, foraged ingredients, most of which can be found in your backyard or along your sidewalks.
