Battle Royale
2013
Ever since seeing Battle Royale from a good friend of mine, I feel in love with Japenese horror and the whole genre. It was nothing like I had ever seen before from America cinemas, and it continues to be amongst my top favorite movies. The branding, and poster design, around such a monumental movie, seems to be lacking the true essence of the movie.
I wanted to remake the poster to truly bring out dark and twisted reality that lives inside of Battle Royale.
