For this project I was chose a poem of my liking, researched the meaning behind it to then created a storyboard. Then I took this storyboard and created a motion poem video explaining the poems meaning through graphics in action!
In this poem, true love's heartbreak feelings are explained through the metaphorical life and death of summer's last sunflower. To resemble these feelings I used a slower paced narrative written in a journal to signify the personal essence while also resembling the trouble and reality of the situation. Simple diary sketch illustrations explain the storyline resonates the reasoning. The written typeface shows the meaningfulness of love from one person to another. Finally, the audio brings the motion poem together by giving a sad and lonely feeling, one that many humans understand from life experience!
