Location: under and above water
The third chapter of my personal project called "Pictures from Corona Land - all shades of water". This time I was focused to recreate black and white photography mood. I created again full 3d CGI detailed renders and tried to obtain not only realistic details but also more real abstract optic and atmospheric effects like fog, caustics etc. achieved directly from render engine. Referring to subtitle, water was great and demanding medium for testing complex shaders, uncommon 3d objects solutions and configurations and finally generate complex realistic effects. For me "All shades of water" is next step forward with 3d freedom of creation. As a analogue photographer I'm satisfied to play with black and white tones in 3d medium where I used my different creation experience from photography. Only one thing was missing - real darkroom chemistry smell...
