Project: USFSP junior class, iconic representations created by combining two models of our choice into a hybrid then writing connotations and denotations of your created construct. Sequence was to then write a poem from these lists and collage everything into a final outcome.
Concept: I combined a gem tree and aluminum scorpion into a hybrid that evoked an environmental message. I adapted my writing into a poster for a Word + Image Exhibition. Text was drawn by hand and image was manipulated in photoshop to create a silhouette highlighting extreme contrast of design elements and content.
