ROCK'N SOLEX / MUSIC FESTIVAL APP
Rock'n Solex is the oldest festival in France, organized entirely by students and it's been making noise for more than 50 years ! Evolving over the years and wishing to offer a digital experience to its visitors, the festival wanted to develop a mobile application. That's where I came in the project, with the creation of an interactive mobile application that adapted to the various phases of the festival.
To develop scalable functionalities in the app, the phases were divided into 3 parts:
before, during and after the festival.
Before the start of the festival, the first section visible to users included a "counter" indicating the days remaining before the start of the festival. The counter evolved during the festival, and then allowed users to visualize the artists performing on the various stages in real time.
A "news" section enabled organizers to share information with users before the festival, such as ticket prices, catering information or artist cancellations. During the festival, information could be added in real time, to enable organizers to maintain a near-instantaneous link of proximity with the public.
An "artist" page was also available on the application, giving details of each artist's musical style, stage and schedule. During the festival, this page evolved to meet users' specific needs. An action button was present on the page, to enable users to receive a notification on their phone 15 minutes before the start of the selected artist's concert, so they wouldn't miss a thing !
