Point Menswear Store Concept

This was a project for the buying and merchandising module of my second year Fashion Promotion course. I created a concept for a menswear store that combined modern minimalism with masculine heritage. There is a emphasis on masculinity and would stock a selection of mid range price points, such as A.P.C., Norse Projects and The Kooples. The imagery I created reflects the merging of two styles: heritage and modern. 
 
Point is a concept of an independent menswear store, with the aim to bring an ease and efficiency to shopping, within a comfortable and up to date environment. With a design concept of a mixture of heritage and modernity, the store should provide a masculine comfort-
ability to the customer, as well as being up to date with the male consumer and his needs and lifestyle. The layout of the store is designed to bring ease back into shop-ping, with the focus on creating whole outfits, with helpful hints and suggestions using displays, signs and images. The use of iPads in the store allows the consumer to quickly snap up any garment out of stock in an easy and immediate fashion, to match his lifestyle.
Located within a thriving part of Brighton’s district the store brings good quality, mid market menswear, to an accessible platform. A small cafe located in the back of thestore will give the store a relaxing atmosphere which should make the shopping experi- ence more enjoyable.
