Guns of Boom — mobile FPS shooter (GAME UX & UI design)


I joined the GoB team as a UI/UX lead. At that time, the project had a lot of plans for further development, which included a lot of new mechanics and exciting content, so our UI team had dozens of non-trivial tasks, which we were able to successfully solve, giving our players a pleasant and clear interaction with the game and an immersive experience.
Working on a game genre like a shooter, each task is a challenge. You have to pay attention to so many things. On the one hand, you have hard players who are used to extremely difficult and tenacious combat and mechanics, and on the other hand, you have casual players who just want to have a good time in a game with simple and clear controls. That's why it's so important to consider the needs of both hardcore and casual players.
