簡介. Introduction
婚禮，古稱「昏禮」，屈原《離騷》有曰：「曰黃昏以為期兮」，學者大多認為古時迎娶會在黃昏時分進行，故稱作「昏禮」。華人社會的婚禮具有相當多傳統儀節及習俗，其中的文化歷史承傳千載至今。然何謂「三書」？何謂「六禮」？何謂「采」？何謂「納」？今天鮮會有人一一知曉箇中意味⋯⋯ 在全球化的環境下，每個國家、城市都在找尋本土文化，都希望自身文化能在全球舞台上站穩腳步，但偏偏我們對於中華文化中最基本的傳統──「生命禮俗」的傳統卻一直忽視。所以，本創作以生命中成立家庭的重要環節──「結婚」作為主題，希望以視覺設計的方式向大眾介紹傳統婚禮的儀節及習俗。 本創作針對傳統婚禮習俗中的重要名詞進行文字造型設計，以一系列平面海報作為呈現方式。設計者希望以視覺設計的方式傳達傳統婚禮的儀節及習俗；使普羅能以簡單直接的方式重新認識傳統昏禮文化。
The Chinese naming of wedding originated from the ancient times since ancient people held wedding ceremonies at dusk. Wedding in the Chinese society has a lot of traditional rituals and customs. For thousands of years, the culture and history were passed down from one generation to another until the present. However what is meant by “Three letters”? What is meant by “Six Etiquettes”? What is meant by “Proposal”? Today, rarely will people realize the true meaning of these. Under globalisation, countries and cities are looking for their local culture, hoping that their own culture can stand firm in the world. Nevertheless, we always neglect the most basic tradition in the Chinese culture---“Life Rituals”. Therefore, this piece of work uses the important stage of life---marriage as the theme, hoping to introduce rituals and customs of the traditional Chinese wedding in the way of visual communication design. The collection will focus on the significant terms of wedding customs and have typography design. The work will be presented in a series of posters. The designer hopes to use the way of visual design to convey traditional wedding rituals and customs, so that people can once again get to know them simply and directly.
