DC Shoes is set to release the latest addition to its ConnoisseurSeries. BLK.WTR (pron. Black Water) is a full collection of four shoesand four apparel pieces set to launch January 2006. Inspired byskateboarders and fused with the high-tech sleekness of Special Forces Equipment,BLK.WTR will be produced in all black fabrics, with multi-functionalpieces designed to transition flawlessly between the streets and highfashion. The BLK.WTR Collection is part of the Connoisseur Series, DC'shigh-end collection that caters to the lifestyle segment of the DCfootwear line.

BLK WTR, part of the "Connoisseur Series", sets out to cater to aslightly more distinguished consumer - the one who might have grown outof the now so widely popular all-over/day-glo styles (or the one whowould want to get some black back into his wardrobe).
Expectations were quite high regarding the apparel in the BLK WTRpackage: Japanese selvedge raw denim, 3-layer construction, leather,lasered/heat sealed finishes...
And DC delivered - a collection that is as well produced as it has beendesigned. All materials have been put into 'use' on the garments. Allpieces are functional, wearable, and definitely also aestheticallyappealing.
