3D Generalist
"Mise en Abyme" is a sci-fi short film directed by Edoardo Smerilli in 2017.
We worked very hard for about a year in collaboration with Bloomik and Maxman Coop (Bologna - Italy) to bring to life the stunning visual effects that characterize the movie. The use of CGI was massive as well as the ambition of the project; so we built an entire world from scratch just like one of the main character of the story and many other elements such as the opening sequences and the titles. The efforts have been fairly rewarded because the movie has travelled a lot among many international festivals, winning some of the best ones regarding the sci-fi category.
