For those of you that don't know, I am this year's Adobe Creative Resident for the UK. Ahead of applications opening for the next intake, I wanted to share my pitch for this wonderful programme. Being a resident has completely changed my life, my work, and the way I approach illustration. 

I wrote this application last January, and it feels like so much has already changed since then! But it's also wonderful to reread this and note the things that I have achieved, or where my expectations have been totally blown out of the water. I am getting so much out of spending my year on The Joyful Everyday, and can't wait to see where I am when it ends next April.
