My FMP (Final Major Project) was to design an invitation for a fairy tale wedding and, if I had the time, some other parts of wedding stationery. I wanted to create something that links in with traditional media, taking inspiration from Illuminated Manuscripts and the work of Jan Pienkowski.
My main focus is to link in some fairy tale aspects into the design so I have hidden "keys" that are connected to some of the most famous fairy tales told by the Brothers Grimm.
This is an entirely personal university project. The names are made up, and the venue is my favourite German castle which happens to be the perfect setting for a fairy tale.
