So grateful to be a part of this awesome poster project for the Canadian government and the UN Rights of the Child Treaty. The Canadian government in 1989 signed the international UN treaty for the protection of children's rights. When they signed the treaty, they made some amendments to add extra rights for the protection of First Nations children. This poster project is aimed at youth from ages 10-16 who are in ministry care, foster care, or at risk. Each poster highlights an article from the treaty and informs youth of their rights.
