Graphic design exhibition
with IKEA hack structure
Daniel Lakos of Planbureau designed an exhibition for graphic students from MOME. The tight deadline and low budget forced us to consider ready-made structures. We found Hyllis from IKEA as a versatile and reasonable module. The structure is made out of 48 Hyllis cabinets. The wall-like skeleton is covered with the exhibited graphics. The curved design resulted in a self supporting construction. Only one shelf level is applied to display book mock-ups.
