Switchfoot has been my favorite band for more than 15 years, so when they held a contest to create the album cover for their Christmas EP, I knew I had to give it a shot. I decided to follow the style they had set in their latest single at the time. This smear effect was used in conjunction with the bright yellow and bold blacks. My design was chosen as the cover out of over 1,000 submissions.
