For four Saturdays in October, the Waltham Farmers’ Market was moved to Moody Street, the main downtown shopping area. Local merchants were invited to open their own stalls. The goal was to promote and invigorate the downtown. I arrived late that Saturday, just as most of the stalls were tearing down. But one local merchant was still open, the India Market, so I focused (figuratively) on that activity—and one other.
