DARK ENERGY. WHY IT MATTERS.
The Dark Energy website is a new design direction that is being pursued through the combination of highly visual elements created in After Effects and Cinema 4D with traditional website layouts created in Xd. Gone are the days of boring landing pages for scientific data.
- Xd: UI elements and prototype
- Cinema 4D (Redshift and X-Particles): model, texture, and particle simulation
- After Effects: post production and animation
The hero sphere was created in Cinema 4D with a high polygon count. Textures were applied using the Redshift's Shader Graph.
Adobe Xd was used to create a 12-column grid for easy coding.
