In this project, I studied succulents. I learned that there are hundreds of different types of succulents including some typed of cacti. Succulents are fleshy plants that don't need to be watered very often and remain relatively small in size. In my sketchbook, I focused on attention to detail and marking every little leaf and stem with strokes of watercolor and shading. I also learned that there are different ways to house succulents such as putting them in a pot and hanging them from the ceiling.
