OPPORTUNITY
Design a typeface specimen for a specific purpose.
SOLUTION
Vanguard was created to be a unique and unified system of signage for the Milan Fashion Week. In order to create an elegant sans serif, certain characteristics of News Gothic (relating to the historical aspect) and Didot (relating to the fashion aspect) were combined. The end result is a tall, simple, modern typeface, great for attention-grabbing signage. Final pieces include a full set of characters, a poster and a specimen book.
