Tec Sounds.
A project commissioned by the distinguished university, Tecnológico de Monterrey, under the concept Tec Sounds. A series of podcasts where students, faculty member, and renowned guests like Nobel prices, former presidents, scientists, entrepreneurs, build a community while discussing the hot topics of our era.
Working with the notions of information, topics, and sound waves, we create typography with movement. On one hand, the word ‘Tec’ comes from the university identity; on the other, the typography for ‘Sounds’ comes for the vibrations, the echo. Plus, we design a dome with a Doppler effect that feels like information radiation at its maximum potency. The black and white center the attention on the words, on their sounds.
The second part of the project was designing the podcast’s covers. According to each theme (education trends, the world’s challenges, health, innovation, among others), we create an illustration that will speak for itself. The palette is a bright triad in contrast with the preceding black-white dualism.
