This cookbook was developed to explore family recipes traditions and the place those held in the Sayyah family. In this project, family recipes were utilized and tested in order to perfect them. During this process, photographs were taken as well as photos of the completed dishes to be used on the pages of the cookbook to aid in telling this family’s story. 

The bold colors of the Mediterranean dishes coupled with the cooling blues of the bolder geometric shapes set the stage for the use of classic serif typography.  This type of typography further conveys the familial and historic origins of Lebanese culture while still maintaining a timeless feel and updated aesthetic.
