El objetivo de este proyecto fue articular el deporte a a ciudad por medio de la interrelación programática y la permeabilidad espacial tanto en el interior del edificio así como tambien entre el interior y el exterior.
Utilizando la idea de "una caja dentro de otra caja", el proyecto fue segmentado de acuerdo al programa. Así, la piscina, las canchas de squash, el gimnasio, la cancha de volley y el restaurante se distinguen claramente entre sí.
Vertical Urban Club
The aim of the proposal is to achieve spatial permeability (both inside the building and interior-exterior) by creating a relationship between the different sports played inside the building, while unifying them with the city.
Using the idea of a "box within a box", the project was segmented according to its program. This way, the pool, squash, gym, volley and dinning area are clearly distinguished.
Estructuralmente hablando, una serie de cerchas y cables tensores suspenden los bloques programáticos en el aire, apoyándose en dos muros estructurales perimetrales.
Structurally speaking, a series of trusses and suspension cables hold the different programmatic boxes in place, while perimeter structural walls bring the load to the ground.
