These sketches are quick memories from various trips to China where my wife is from. While being invited to huge dinner tables, walking in the park, strolling about the market or simply watching Chinese television I filled my mind with all those impressions of people. When there was a chance I grabbed my sketchbook and tried to restore those moments on paper. Or I was just simply filling the gap in between connecting flights by spying on the faces that surrounded me in the departure hall and telling my own version of the story with the pen.
