DISSECTING ANATOMY
Dissecting anatomy is a photography project I've done in January 2019. I photographed my friend, actor Nikola Pavlovic trying to express myself through him, but also to save his integrity. I did two series: a documentary one (bellow the text) - portraying him at his house in Belgrade and another one anatomy like collage. In second one I used various techniques and manipulations (some of them are done on photopaper directly, those are digital examples of them here), but also some banal facts such as passport scan or personal ID. I aspired to present him by reducing him to a mixture of those data values and his intrinsic expressiveness in order to give a complete comprehensive image of his inner and external being. It was very detailed and meaningful process for me, truly interesting experience. I've experienced and learned more about connection with people creating something with them which helps me to embody my feeling and thoughts, using them as a medium to achieve new vistas.
