What is it that separates cultures from one another? When you take down the physical, geographic, and language barriers between countries, you can start to realize how we all have so many commonalities. We are all concerned with providing for ourself/our family, relationship ups and downs, health, love, hate and so many other hurdles that we overcome as part of our day to day lives.

I took part in an Experimental Design workshop called The Crossborder Network in Luxembourg where I met so many international students and teachers from around the world. For eleven days we worked in a pair of warehouses in Differdange, where we were to create an art piece of our choice centered around the theme of MIGRATION. I decided to focus more on where we each come from, but was really interested in highlighting that we all have things in common, no matter where we are from or have been. That is the main thing I took away from that amazing experience, and I hope that what I discovered is successfully illustrated in this video.
