Magazine layout and design for Decimononic's Talking Board. Decimononic is devoted to the design and manufacture of handcrafted jewelry and accessories with a heavy focus on steampunk culture.

 

The brief was to make a compilation of the monthly interviews they publish on their website and make it printable. I tried to focus on doing a highly legible publication while keeping the art deco, and steampunk aesthetics present and unobtrusive at the same time. The talking board needed to be highly reminiscent of the victorian era and serve as a supporting device for Decimononic's planchette.
