Second outcome from my independent project - creative storytelling for the elderly.

 

The project was all about presenting newspaper articles visually for an elderly audience. This comprised of a 9 day experimental and problem solving exercise where I presented news stories in a number of ways with and without the use of words, to evaluate the needs of my audience. This led to an example outcome, where I presented a day's worth of news through my visual storytelling style to an elderly audience.

 

These visual news stories aided the retention levels of information, made the interpretation of information much quicker, and offers a different reading experience that enables a creative reading style that is not capable when just using text.
