The poster refers to audiobook about famine in the Crimea in the 1920s "Mom, where are you? Come!" by Ervin Umerov
Famine in Crimea in 1920s. A little girl Shadiye has lost her parents.
Her life turned into a sort of labyrinth which has no way out, she wanders there searching for her mom. My poster depicts this as a maze which only has an entrance but no way out. A viewer's eye wanders there, bumping into phrases like "mom!" "where are you?" "come", just like the child's soul used to painfully confront with the world's emptiness and cruelty.
