This is an illustration project based on a museum exhibit at the McNay Art Museum. We were to choose an American experience and illustrate it in the style of the artists at the exhibit, then choose one word to encompass the meaning of that experience. I chose a picture of my grandparents to show the importance of family structure in American culture. We are German, so I used the word komfort to describe what that experience means to me.
