JUMP - JAPAN UNDERGROUND FESTIVAL

Design and implementation of identity for an imaginary festival on Japanese underground cultures. The contents of the event ranged between different areas: visual arts, photography, video, theater, dance, comics. “ME Osservatorio Giappone” was been the promoter of the hypothetical festival. The Underground culture does not want to conform to contemporary trends, and this also emerges from the sarcastic use and adaptation of the modular grid, which would be a reference to mass culture. The modular grid, a fundamental element on which the whole project is based, is often used as the basis of a work / artpiece. Similarly “UNDERGROUND” is seen as the foundation of the entire visual identity.
EXHIBITION
The works were the protagonists of an exhibition organized by the third year students of the Macerata Academy of Fine Arts of the Graphic Design course.
