PSU Athletics Fall 2019 Graphic Design Internship

For my final semester at Penn State University, I continued to intern as a graphic designer with the athletics department. The following artwork contains pieces that I designed throughout the fall semester. I mostly work on social media content but I also create some other types of graphics. It all depends on what they ask me to do. This is a work in progress and I will continue to upload more work throughout the semester. I hope you enjoy!
This graphic was made for social media to promote the fact that State College, PA becomes the 3rd largest city in Pennsylvania on game days.
This project was made just in case this Penn State Baseball alumni got a September call-up to the majors. Unfortunately, it didn't happen and the graphics were never released.
I was able to create a template of graphics for Penn State Men's Gymnastics to send out to recruits.
I also created the template for men's gymnastic recruits who signed and committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at Penn State.
The following project was made to announce a high school football game that was going to be played at Beaver Stadium to be posted on social media.
Next is a template I created for Penn State Men's Hockey. The graphic will be used on social media throughout the season to announce where Penn State is nationally ranked.
These advertisement graphics, made for Penn State Men's Basketball, were created to announce that the media guide/yearbook for the team was available for purchase.
Next is a credential template I created for Nittany Lion Club members to wear during big wrestling matches throughout the season.
Next is a simple gif I created as a schedule release for the Women's Gymnastics and Lacrosse teams.
This graphic was for the Men's Ice Hockey team at Penn State. They played a game on halloween night so they wanted to promote it in an appropriate way. Needless to say I had a lot of fun creating this and it was a huge hit.
The next set of graphics were created to post on social media platforms in the event that the Men's Soccer team won the Big Ten Tournament. Unfortunately, it didn't happen so the graphics were never posted on social media.
In another social media project, I was asked to make a "Thank You Fans" graphic to be posted after the last home football game of the season.
Next was a series of social media graphics used to get people excited for big Penn State Athletic events coming in the new year.
I was asked to create a recruit send out for Penn State Women's Basketball used to wish their recruits a "Happy Holidays!" The idea was something new and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
These are trifold covers that I worked on for the Wrestling teams. We use the trifolds as mini game programs that can also be used as posters.
(I am aware that there are 2 for the Northwestern match. The coaches weren't sure Rasheed would recover from an injury in time for the match so they had me make 2 versions.)
The final graphic set was created in order to celebrate Mark Hall's 100th collegiate win with Penn State Wrestling. The graphics were sized for a video board at Rec Hall and Twitter.
Thank you for taking the time out to look at some of the work and content I created for Penn State Athletics throughout my last semester as a student with the University.
