THE PROJECT
AZA, or A-Z Atlas, is a two-way matching system designed
by Zeleritaz Group, to ease the matching of sellers and buyers.
I had the opportunity to create this Explainer Video for them,
and got to design lots of home decor elements and funky furniture.
Hope you like it!

STORYBOARD
The most challenging part of this project
was definitely finding a clean and abstract way
to transition from the real world, to the "inside"
of the system, which I did using simple windows.

ILLUSTRATION
-
COLOR PALETTE
Since there were no style guidelines in place for me to stick to,
we got to play around and test out plenty of fun color options!

PETER'S FUNITURE DESIGNS
Once the colors were set, the first step of the illustration work was to
figure out a style for Peter's furniture designs, something that would
distinguish them from the other pieces we see throughout the video.
I went for modern, playful, structured through slick, connected bars.

RANDOM FURNITURE PIECES
The most fun part of all was probably just bulk-designing a
bunch of different types, styles, and eras of furniture-related
elements. Some are pretty plain, and some kinda cool, I think!

ANIMATION
Below are some of my favourite isolated shots from the video.
It was my first time animating characters without eyes or noses,
so it was particularly fun working out how to effectively show
their emotions and reactions only through their body language.

Thank you!
