Shelf | Typographical Poster
This project that began in early October was based around the idea of designing a typographical poster that would help provide a literal-narrative for the word “Shelf”, by the way of a visual style that combines minimalism and simplicity together.

As you will see, the final outcome consists of an illustration of a birds-eye view of a wooden shelf placed upon the top half of the poster, alongside a non-dusty looking section that helps give the impression that the word itself has sat upon said shelf for an extended period of time.

To help push the overall depth of design that little bit further, I decided to include lighting gradients alongside a grain texture in order to help push away from a look that I felt would appear far too flat, and way too polished for my own personal liking.

So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!
