Wells Beach, Maine | Our 2016 Trip
As I mentioned in a previous project, this is one of my most favorite places to vacation in Maine. Located on the Southern Coast of Maine, this area has both sandy beaches and rocky cliffs. We always stay at the same hotel; Lafayette's Oceanfront Resort. As far as I'm concerned, it's the only place to stay in Wells. While no matter where you stay at Lafayette's you're only a short walk from the beach, we always opt for the ocean front room, where at high tide the water crashes onto the patio. Vacationing here is probably the only time I actually look forward to waking up at sunrise, and taking a walk is a must!
