神奈川・葉山にてカリグラフィーアートを手がけるSalon de Cleyera・榊原奈津子さん。名刺をデザインさせていただきました。奈津子さんの描くアーティスティックなカリグラフィーを、活版印刷を用いなるべく実際に近い形で再現されたいとのご要望があり、印刷用データにするために何度も入念なスキャニング作業を施しました。特に手描きカリグラフィーの細い線の部分の再現が難しかったのですが、お客様の大事なオリジナルデータを100%に近い形でデジタルデータにする再現性の重要さについて改めて考えることができました。ありがとうございました。

Natsuko Sakakibara of Salon de Cleyera - an authentic Calligrapher in Hayama, Kanagawa. For her new business, I helped to design the business card. Natsuko has good a sense of design and she desired to make her handwriting needed to be presented for real on the card-sized paper with letterpress printing. Especially to achieve her super thin hairlines, I did the best to scan her beautiful handwriting on the real paper over and over using the scanner. I was able to experience a more beautiful and unique design creation with Natsuko. She is awesome! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to enhance the technical reproduction of paper-based delicate artwork.
