In this world a robot does “grow up,” it must buy new components to upgrade it's self. A robot must be productive, earning the privilege to upgrade. This robot is getting his first upgrade. As it rolls through the parts dealership it looks at each component longingly but distressed. The film transitions to a dream bubble where the robot poses with the new component attached. As the film transitions back the robot shakes it's head and moves on to the next piece. It can not decide if it wants to be strong, nimble, smart, or versatile. It only has one upgrade credit and some of the best parts are out of it's range, but even so, there is a huge variety to pick from. Final shot is a short flip-flop from an extreme close up of the robot's face to a long shot showing the entire show room.
