ABOUT THE CONTEST – BIENAL DO GRANITO
Each student should be able to design a piece that can be materialized in GRANITE YELLOW of Mondim de Basto, and may also make use of other materials since it favors granite as the predominant material in the developed solutions. This project intends to find solutions that can be installed and used in interior spaces, public or private, and for individual or collective use. The development of solutions must take into account not only the raw material but also the social, cultural, economic and technological context of the region, framed in a more global perspective that reflects the particularities of contemporary societies.
