Myers Motors Rebrand

About
Myers Motors was created on the principal of “We want to give you the freedom to drive affordable, sustainable, and fun electric vehicles.” Myers Motors has two visions; the first vision is to have one electric vehicle in every two-car garage. Their second vision is of a highway full of fun to drive, single occupant, energy-efficient electric cars taking their occupants to and from work and to run errands.

Issues
There needed to be a refinement of colors; the current colors do not represent what the company is about,
a major overhaul with the logo since it doesn’t embody the spirit of Myers Motors, and finally the name
needed to echo the mission of Myers motors; “We want to give you the freedom to drive affordable,
sustainable, and fun electric vehicles.”

Solutions
The name AMP, which stands for Alternative Motor Power, was chosen to keep with the theme of using acronyms for names (the NmG (No more Gas) and the DUO (Doesn't Use Oil) are the two cars they produce), the symbol’s inspiration came from a standard 120 volt electric plug which is used to charge up the car, the tagline was modified a tiny amount so that it flows better when you say it and the main color was changed
to yellow which represents electricity and happiness (the gray colored is reserved for only the onwer’s use,
letting you know who it is); all of this was changed to better emphasize the electric aspect of the company.
