About the mural
In April 2018 I was commissioned by the National Blood Donor Center of Greece (E.KE.A.) to paint a mural on their headquarters, honouring the forthcoming World Blood Donor Day. The mural is a three surface composition. Its goal was to reflect my personal view on the act of blood donation, which focuses on sensitivity and feelings in general that motivate people to donate blood. So I chose an optimistic image with the message as protagonist in the center. Two sailors wear different clothes as a symbol of diversity, and the blood transfusion tubes accidentally shape a heart.
