Los Angeles Public Arts Project Submission
Last December I read Women in Love by D. H. Lawrence, and found myself enthralled by the vigorous, sensual extravagance of the world generated through the writing. That novel inspired me to create Boardwalk. In this series
I imagine a brash tribe of young Californians, connected by gleaming devices, by sunshine and by desire –
to a glorious day on the Boardwalk.
