Grave of the Fireflies is a 1998 animated film about the horrors of war in Japan during World War II. This design was a part of a class project to re-imagine a movie poster. This recreation was created with Illustrator and Indesign to give a modern approach to this Studio Ghibli masterpiece. The small scale and dark artwork are to emphasize the feeling of dread and loneliness the main character faces in this iconic scene.
