Future scenario concerning Life and Death
In the global society is now recognize the problem of the growth of population and consequently the problem of overcrowded cemeteries. In addition, recently the rise of cremations marks a strong desire of a part of the population to think themselves after death not under a layers of earth, waiting to be decomposed. Dot. Sky, by taking this wish of people as starting point, takes a step towards, making real the desire, innate in man, to reunite with the sky.
Dot.Sky Funeral Service. A new way to say goodbye
The main privilege, as designers, is that our choices can improve and reinvent reality through the simplification of problems with a consequent increased quality of people's lives.
Dot.Sky is a funeral service which introduces at the same time a new way of commemoration of lives lived, that dismembered and reassembled in a completely innovative way the concept of funeral. The main challenge is to replace the traditional burial with an Ascension in the Sky, involving directly municipalities and authorities of territories through an online platform called www.dot.sky.com. The purpose of Dot.sky is to guide step by step families to a new way of saying goodbye to loved ones, and also to be used by different culture with different religions in any part of the world.
Analyzing the common methods of burial we can easily notice that in any case Death is the decomposition of the body for mineralization two feet deep on the ground in about 10 years. For this reason we create Dot.sky. To change the idea of "Life after Death" on the ground with the Ascension in the Sky thanks to proper balloons. The Dot.Sky balloons will take the ashes of your loved one to the sky for about 30 Km, till the balloon explodes for the pressure.
