Tannature - Wine label design process

Tannature - natural organic wine
A nature wine is a wine that doesn't contain any sort of added product during the winemaking process. The Tannature is one of them. It is the paroxysm of organic wines because nothing is added during the growth of the vine nor during the winemaking so the whole process is 100% natural.
The bottle - an expectation
Wine bottle design is not just a nice looking label on a nice looking piece of glass. It's an experience, a message. Every single element of the design of a wine will create emotions & expectations. Shape, size, color, paper, finishes, touch, etc. must all be taken into account when designing the bottle because those are the vector of those emotions & expectations.
Most importantly those must perfectly match the characteristics of the wine inside the bottle because a lot of customers will buy the bottle according to those expectations. And if there no match between the wine & the packaging, it will create a huge frustration.
Frustration is the worst emotion you want to generate. Satisfaction is the key. In order to achieve satisfaction, you need to have a perfect match between the expectations and the product.
The process
In order to convey the production process through the bottle, I had to adopt the same process in the creation of the label. That's why I designed the label with my own hand by drawing the letter and creating new shapes.
The result is a simple script brush custom type that is unique.
In order to convey the quality of the final product and the process, we chose a white coton rough paper and a gold foil finish. The finish is also part of the global experience because you can feel the quality through the paper and you can also play with the foil by moving the bottle and the light.
Thanks for watching this project !
